Cruising the Baltic Sea

On the ship. Checking in reminded me of why I hate cruises. Our driver got us here an hour and a half late; they did not give us our expected priority boarding, so we waited in line for hours instead of getting on and having a cocktail on our patio......

But.  I have never had a suite before.  It's bigger than some (many) of our hotel rooms, and has a full balcony.  My butler unpacked for me (why not?!?) while we sipped champagne.

Then a lovely gourmet dinner in the private (suite only) dining room.

Next is room service in the morning on the patio.

I just might like cruising after all.......

And tomorrow I wake up in Belgium!

What a life I lead ~~

Night night from the Baltic Sea ~

  1. I love that you talk about your driver and your butler! So fun! Not fun that you arrived late caused by the driver. But at least it is way more fun to speak about than like oh our bus was late!

The suite sounds lovely; so sorry you missed out on the pampering that you paid a premium for!

Enjoy the long daylight evenings that far north!

    1. Yes, it's not every day that one has a driver AND a butler. Feels a little like the movies ~
I hate wasting valuable travel time, that's the trigger point. And slight travel frustrations always feel a little bigger when you are travel-weary. At the end of the day, though, those long daylight evenings present an opportunity to recoup some of that wasted time -- spent waiting!
