Eddie Would Go!
Hawaii means surfing. Surfing means Hawaii. It's the way of things here on the island. People call in their sick days when the surf's up. Serious. Who cares what happens when they get (eventually) need a sick day.
Today we drove across the island to watch the "Big Eddie". This contest is unique, both on this island and others. It's all about death-defying huge waves.
